Join us for a no-cost event to learn about hearing loss and implantable solutions given by Northwestern Medicine's Mark Wiet MD. This Question-and-Answer session on Cochlear Implants is being held in Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, Bed Tower Conference Room 2.

Cochlear implants aren't right for everyone. To be considered for cochlear implants, all of the following must be true.
1. You have severe hearing loss that's impacting your quality of like. For example:
- Struggling to hear on the phone
- Difficulty understanding others
- Withdrawing from social events
- Often needing others to repeat themselves
2. You have tried traditional hearing aids, but they are not working for you.
3. You are in overall good health.
If your hearing aids are no longer enough, this event can help you learn if an implantable hearing solution is right for you.
This event will:
- Share information on how a hearing implant can benefit you.
- Provide insights from a hearing implant recipient sharing their journey and experience.
- Cover the difference between hearing aids and hearing implants.
- Give you the opportunity to meet physicians, audiologist and others within the hearing loss community.
