Open captioned performances of "Oedipus El Rey" at Victory Gardens

Victory Gardens Theater will offer two upcoming open-captioned performances of "Oedipus El Rey."

Open captions will be presented on July 27 at 7:30 p.m. and on July 28 at 4 p.m. The July 27 performance also will have ASL interpretation.

"Oedipus El Rey" by Luis Alfaro is an adaptation of Sophocles' "Oedipus the King," transferred to the world of Los Angeles street gangs. The production involves nudity.
