Photo Scavenger Hunt & Dinner

This is a fun, friendly event to share ALDA camaraderie and give us a break from the ordinary. Family and friends are welcome to join in the hunt and the fun. Armed with trusty digital or cell phone cameras, teams take photos of scavenger hunt items within the confines of Oakbrook Center Mall. We will meet up for dinner later where hunt results will be tallied and prizes awarded to the winning team.

HUNT OVERVIEW:  The scavenger hunt is played in teams of 3 people. You can either sign up as a member of a team or as an individual that becomes part of a team after your arrival. Children under the age of 10 can play without taking up a slot on the team.

HOW TO PLAY:  Prior to the hunt, each team will be given a set of written rules, a map of Oakbrook Center Mall and photos of the scavenger hunt items to be located. The idea is for each team to take a photo of each hunt object with a digital camera or cell phone. The team with the most matching photos is the winner.

TIMING

1:30 PM--meet in front of the Beatrix Coffee Shop/Restaurant at 272 Oakbrook Center, Lower Level (across from the Cheesecake Factory near Maggiano's Little Italy). This is where you obtain your team's hunt package of rules, maps and photos, and meet and mingle a little bit before the hunt begins.

2:15 PM--the hunt begins.

4:30 PM--the hunt ends, with everyone convening at the Potbelly Sandwich Shop, 519 Oakbrook Center, Level 2 (across from the GAP store near Nordstrom's). While we enjoy our meal and conversations, hunt results will be tallied and prizes awarded. Everyone pays for their own meal and beverages.

REMEMBER:  THIS IS NOT A RACE.  THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF TIME TO FIND ALL of THE ITEMS SO JUST HAVE FUN!
