Living Well With Hearing Loss by Dr. Samuel Trychin

Well-known psychologist Dr. Samuel Trychin will present a workshop on "Living Well With Hearing Loss: What Works and What Doesn't" Saturday, May 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. The workshop is free and no preregistration is required, but seating is limited.

Dr. Trychin is an internationally renowned psychologist, educator and author who specializes in the social and interpersonal impact of hearing loss. Whatever your current hearing ability, this workshop will help you learn communication strategies and coping mechanisms that will make your everyday interactions easier and less stressful.

The workshop is cosponsored by ALDA Chicago and the Lincoln Park, Illinois Cochlear Implant Club and Central Illinois chapters of HLAA. 

It will be held at the College of DuPage's Health & Science Center in Lecture Hall 1234. The College of DuPage is at 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. The Health and Science Center is at the southeast corner of Fawell Boulevard and Lambert Road, by parking lot Fawell D. It is not far from the junction of Interstate Highways 88 and 355.
